August 17, 2005 Today’s Word of Strength Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Oh Saints, I pray you all will receive this truth today. Many of us in the body of Christ are stressing, losing our peace and our joy because we are trying to accomplish spiritual things through our flesh. Oh dear Saints, it is impossible for us to live out this Christian life through our flesh. God decided to put Himself within our hearts that He might live through us. Here in Galatians Paul is testifying to the fact that it is Christ within him that is accomplishing the works in his life. Saints, we were not created to handle this world’s pressure, but our Savior Jesus Christ was able and is yet able through us, but only if we will place our total trust in Him. Please consider this analogy. A human was never designed to dwell beneath the depths of the ocean. At a certain depth without the aid of a submarine and mechanized air pressure equipment our ear drums would burst. Well, think of this world as the depths of the ocean and Jesus Christ as the submarine. You can’t dwell at peace in this world unless you are securely resting in Christ, because He keeps the pressure of the world away from you. Oh I pray someone will receive this word today.
